As a visible and engaged member of the campus community, the VPSS will partner with the President in advancing the college's mission by providing leadership and strategic direction for the Academic and Student Affairs division. By working collaboratively with, and advocating for, MSC Southeast's dedicated and accomplished faculty and staff, the VPSS will foster continued programmatic innovation and create new opportunities for enrollment growth.  The successful candidate will have a passion for equity and inclusion; be a data-informed decision-maker with a tolerance for risk; and will be an exceptional listener who works to understand the pulse of the college and the communities we serve.

Location: The VPSS position will be located on either our Red Wing or Winona campus, with regular travel between campuses expected.  Hybrid work environment and relocation assistance are available.

Staff Positions

Information Technology Specialist II (Red Wing Campus)

The Information Technology Specialist II position provides technical support to Southeast faculty, staff, and students, assists with technical support services, and participates with team members in providing a quality customer service center for IT clients. Academic Support Facilitator  (Winona Campus)

The Academic Support Facilitator serves as the college testing coordinator, learning styles/academic support tutor, and Starfish (college student success and retention tool) flag assignment lead. The person in this position will coordinate and administer Accuplacer, TEAS, and CLEP assessments, facilitate Accessibility Services testing, and serve as the main proctor for online testing that is administered through Southeast's Academic Support Center. As part of the tutoring role, this position will evaluate, assess, and support various learning style needs of Southeast students, and as needed refer them to campus support offices. Campus Security Report

аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± recognizes providing the safest environment possible is an integral element of the college's educational mission and annually publishes a Campus Security Report that is available to everyone. This report provides statements of policy for a broad range of safety and security programs including crime prevention programs, reporting crimes, personal safety, community relations, environmental safety, enforcement authority, evacuation procedures, and enforcement authority and response, and a 3-year statistical review of designated crimes on campus.
