Admissions Process
It's easy to apply! It should only take 10-15 minutes to fill out the application form. The application fee is $5, but can be waived with identity verification. through our Bookings scheduling system.
You will need to log in with your StarID and password. If you have ever attended a Minnesota State college or university, you should already have a StarID. If you don't have a Star ID, you can get one easily. Click on "Create your StarID."
- Your StarID and password will become your login information for your email, student account, and computers on campus.
The online application form consists of a series of questions that will help us process your information. Fields marked with a red star are mandatory and must be completed.
Watch your mail for a welcome letter from our admissions department!
Attention please:
- Please do not fill out the online application form if you will only be taking 6 credits or less (see "Visitor Student" status) or if you'll be taking non-credit continuing education classes.
- You do NOT need to re-apply for admission to change your major! If you need to change your major, please complete the online .
- Some programs require additional application materials. Check to see if your program has special admissions requirements.
