New Student Orientation
Before registering for classes, new students need to complete our online Orientation course.
You can complete orientation 24 hours after you have been admitted into the college. You will access online orientation through .
What is D2L Brightspace?
D2L Brightspace is a learning platform used for delivering online components of a learning experience to students. Students taking online classes and web-enhanced classes at MSC Southeast will use D2L Brightspace to navigate their courses.
How to log in to D2L - Online Orientation Course
- with your StarID and password.
- In the right-hand column, look under My Courses. (On your phone, scroll down to My Courses.) Click on MSCS Student Orientation.
- Go through the orientation by watching the videos and answering the questions.
- At the end of the D2L Orientation Course, complete the required form.
- Allow 24-48 hours for us to process your orientation.
